Recognise us?
That’s right, we featured in the popular BBC Drama Hope Street as the Commodore. This was a huge honour of the town of Donaghadee and we were delighted to be featured. From our showcase in the popular drama we have had the privilege of meeting people from across the globe who are fans of the show and have travelled far and wide to visit the filming location.
We visited this place because we watch The television series “ Hope street “ and what a pleasant and unexpected surprise we found. The place was warm, friendly and so welcoming, and we settled in for a comfortable drink in the lovely bar to enjoy the ambiance.
Having decided to stay for food, we were certainly not disappointed as it was truly superb! We were seated in the restaurant area ( a place not shown in the TV series) and it was lovely. The food was appetising and flavourful and all served by professional and service oriented staff.
